British Colonial Rosewood Bow Fronted Chest of Drawers

Mid 19th century

A British colonial bow fronted teakwood chest of drawers with a nicely figured top and drawer fronts. It has four drawers of equal size, all with brass swan-neck handles. The chest of drawers stands on four small cabriole legs with carving on the knee. These legs end in ball and claw feet.

The piece is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
