Anglo-Indian Rosewood Bow Fronted Chest of DrawersEarly 19th century
A British colonial bow fronted rosewood chest of drawers with a beautifully figured top and drawer fronts. It has four drawers of equal size, all with two brass handles. The base has a shaped apron and stands on splayed bracket feet.
The chest is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The rosewood has a dark shade with a striking grain
