Anglo-Indian Teakwood Filing CabinetLate 19th century
A nice size British colonial filing cabinet made of Burma teakwood. It features a teakwood tambour door that gives access to nine equal size sliding shelves. The top of the cabinet can be turned into a lectern for display purposes. The cabinet rests on a base that stands on four small bun feet.
The cabinet is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.Calcutta
