Anglo-Indian Ebony Jewellery BoxMid 19th century
A delicately carved British colonial solid ebony jewellery box. It features geometric carving amid stylized trellis and foliate designs on the top and the four sides. On the sides to brass swan-neck handles. It opens to a fitted interior with several small compartments and a lift out tray that gives access to the large compartment. The box rests on four small bracket feet.
