British Colonial Mahogany Partners’ DeskMid 19th century
A British colonial or Anglo-Indian mahogany writing/partners desk with a rectangular moulded top with a black tooled leather writing insert. It sits above a deep frieze with three drawers on both sides with ebony pulls and ebony trim around the drawer front. The desk stands on four attractive turned, reeded legs that are bulbous at the top, tapering and ending in a ring and a peg foot.
