Anglo-Indian Teakwood Pedestal DeskLate 19th century
An elegant British colonial pedestal desk in teakwood with an overhanging top panel. The top features an inverted centre section that is flanked by two pedestals. Each pedestal has three drawers with brass handles. The sides and the back of the pedestals with panelling. The desk stands on eight well turned tapering legs.
The desk is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
