British Colonial Mahogany Marble Top Table
Mid 19th centuryA British colonial mahogany marble top table. The circular top is beautifully figured with a carved and serpentine shaped apron. It stands on a solid and beautifully carved baluster support with three cabriole legs ending in a scroll. The table is of good proportions and could be used as a dining – or center table..
The table is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The mahogany has a rich warm shade with a striking grain.
