British Colonial Rosewood Cabinet on StandMid 19th century
A beautiful antique British colonial rosewood cabinet on stand with a deep moulded and carved cornice. The frieze is relief carved in a floral pattern. Set back from the base, the cabinet has double doors with eight beveled glass panels flanked by two spirally turned pillars; they open to reveal three shelves. The lower section, with an overhanging carved top has three drawers flush fitted with the original handles. All four legs are tapered and carved and terminate with two rings ending in a peg foot.
