British Colonial Rosewood Occasional TableLate 19th century
A very elegant British colonial rosewood occasional table (tripod) with a circular overlapping top. This top is supported on a turned column with rings and raised upon three cabriole legs.
The table is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The Indian rosewood that this piece has been made off has a naturally occurring dark shade with a striking grain.
