We couldn’t miss out the famous Christmas tree at the Rockefeller Centre in New York City. Sticking with a traditional style this native tree is 82ft tall and has over 50,000 multicoloured lights topped with a dazzling Swarovski crystal star. The holiday season has truly begun when this stunning tree is on display.
The Peninsula Hotel serves up Christmas in abundance where numerous Christmas tees are decked in festive colours and are guarded by giant, decorative nutcracker figures. Garlands of evergreens and baubles sweep down the famous stairway.
Venture into the Met Museum and be rewarded with a magnificently lit, twenty-foot blue spruce tree which looms over a vivid eighteenth-century Neapolitan Nativity scene, surrounded by an abundant array of lifelike figures with silk-robed angels hovering above.

At Claridge’s Hotel we are treated to a magnificent sculptural creation crafted from reflective mirrors and accented with light which pulses and undulates. The brainchild of the Creative Director for Jimmy Choo, this Christmas tree is titled ‘The Diamond’ and is topped off with a glittering bow.
In Covent Garden, things are looking a bit more traditional with a show stopping 60ft British grown handpicked tree. Decorated wish 30,000 lights, it is picture perfect with a red bow and barrel base bring Christmas cheer to busy shoppers.
The Christmas tree in La Galeries Lafayette this year is ‘out of this world’. From Elato, the Christmas tree planet, it is a spectacular tree with 11 different displays. Every 30 minutes the lights go out for a truly magical sound and light show bringing a sense of wonder to the young and old.
The Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris has extravagant festive decorations by Jeff Leatham, the famous artistic director of the hotel. A golden mirrored abstract tree sits below a beautiful chandelier and is flanked by inventive, tree shaped gold and green lights and golden cubes.
The trees along the Avenue des Champs-Elysees are decorated with sparkling lights creating a visually stunning formation the whole way to the Arc de Triomphe. This year the holiday lights will still sparkle while cutting energy use by 44 percent.
Singapore may not have snow but it certainly makes up for it with thousands of sparkling lights and designer Christmas trees. This year ION Orchard has possibly the biggest tree topper we have ever seen. The Dior star is 15 meters tall and sits atop a modern take on the traditional tree, resulting in a visually stunning spectacle with over 20,000 lightbulbs.
In fact, the whole of Orchard Road is illuminated by a dazzling festive display which includes an array of opulent Christmas trees that will take your breath away! In particular the ‘Christmas on a Great Street’ display features a huge Christmas tree adorned with festive baubles, lights and a brilliant shinning star on top. The tree is integrated into the display which features thousands of lights in red, green and gold.
At Raffles City you can step inside the world’s first Guerlain Christmas tree! This art installation features a 15m tree decorated foliage and vegetation, and over 300 crafted bees, a galaxy of stars and honeycombs.
