A COLOURFUL CHRISTMAS AT PAST PERFECT

It’s the big one! The one you want to get so right. This Christmas, something symbolic of Kashmir is all around us and the setting for our Christmas table was inspired by Good Earth’s colourful dinnerware Serai.

SERAI - DINNERWARE

Good Earth’s dinnerware  ‘Serai’ is adorning our antique dining table with vibrant colors like cerise aqua and saffron.  This gorgeous fine bone china collection tells the story of Emperor Jehangir who along with Noor Jahan crossed the snowy passes of the Pir Panjal on elephants no less than thirteen times to spend summer months in Kashmir.
The plates are decorated with the Kashmiri butah, the convergence of a stylized floral spray and a cypress tree: a Zoroastrian symbol of life and eternity. The bowls feature striding elephants and rose leitmotifs.
