British Colonial Mahogany Drop Leaf TableMid 19th century
An antique British colonial drop leaf table in mahogany with a central pedestal. The overhanging table top has reeded edges and is mounted at either side with a drop leaf which is secured with brass hinges. When raised, each leaf rests on a bracket, even with the sides, which rotates outwards. The frieze drawer has mahogany pulls.
The baluster centre support is well turned and is joined into the quatrefoil base which rests on four carved feet.
