Art Deco Teakwood Cylinder Desk
Early 20th centuryAn Art Deco teakwood cylinder desk with nicely contrasting rosewood details. It features a rectangular moulded top and a cylinder fall front. The top opens to reveal a fitted interior which consists of five pigeon holes above five additional document holders. Four drawers with brass pulls and two storage compartments flank either side. The piece has a pull-out writing slide with storage compartments and an adjustable writing slope. Beneath the writing slide, inside the cupboard is one shelf.
The desk is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
