Art Deco Teakwood Cylinder Desk
Early 20th centuryAn Art Deco teakwood cylinder desk with nicely contrasting rosewood details. It features a rectangular moulded top and a cylinder fall front. The top opens to reveal a fitted interior which consists of six pigeon holes above five drawers with a brass pull. The piece has a pull-out writing slide with storage compartments and an adjustable writing slope. Beneath the writing slide, three equal sized drawers are flanked by two storage compartments with a bow fronted door.
The desk is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
