Pair of British Colonial Burmese Teakwood Side Tables

Late 19th century

A pair of elegant British Colonial round side tables made of Burmese Teakwood. The round top overhanging the edge rests on a reeded column with a solid tapered centre support terminating to a tripod base with fluted legs.

The tables are in good condition and have been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The Bumese Teakwood has a rich warm golden shade with a smooth grain.
