British Colonial Rosewood Window Seater
Late 19th centuryAn Anglo-Indian or British colonial rosewood window seater with scrolled arm supports carved with a rosette at the end. It has a reeded X-frame with floral carving at centre. Upholstered in a diamond- tufted pattern with quality linen-cotton blend fabric. The seat height is 40 cm or 15½”.
The window seat is in excellent condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
