A British colonial four sectional barrister bookcase in teakwood. It features four bookshelves with a glazed door to allow the spines of the books to be read and that uses an ‘up and over’ mechanism for opening. Along the sides two more, small display compartments with doors that open to four shelves. All resting on a plinth base.

The cupboard is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
