An elegant British colonial teakwood writing desk with an overhanging top. It features a central drawer flanked by four smaller drawers fitted with a nice brass pull. The sides and back are decorated with panelling. The piece stands on four cabriole legs ending in a peg.

The desk is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
