Pair of British Colonial Leather Armchairs
Late 19th centuryA pair of Anglo-Indian or British colonial leather armchairs with a dome shaped back. The seat, arms and back are generously padded for extra comfort and fully upholstered in brown leather. The slender roll of the arms curve out and feature rosette carving at the end. The chairs each stand on four teakwood legs of square section, the rear ones are moderately raked.The seat height is 44 cm or 17½”.
