• A real star of the Antiques hunt is a British colonial ebony sofa. It has an arched serpentine crest rail centered by a floral carving above a hand-woven cane seat. Perfect for displaying some colourful Good Earth scatter cushions and sipping a gin and tonic.
• Our well-travelled British colonial chests date back to the mid-19^th  century. They were one of the most common pieces of furniture made for the European colonists in India and came I many form and styles. Use them as stylish storage, as a blanket box or coffee table - they are as versatile as they are beautiful.
