Anglo-Indian Mahogany Folding Games Table

An elegant British colonial mahogany games table with edge trimmed in ebony. The top folds over to double in size by twisting the top supported by a leg revealing a deep storage area. When opened, the top surface has a soft black leather finish. The table is supported on a central pillar carved terminating on a quatrefoil base with four short raked and reeded legs ending on four brass caster wheels. These tables were multipurpose, being used for both games and for refreshments such as tea. In it’s closed position it also doubles as console table.
