Danielle has long been a keen collector and restoration connoisseur of antiquities around the globe and has backed up her love of cultural preservation with a master’s degree in museum studies and curatorial practice from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Steven has been a supply chain professional for over 30 years and for the past six years has run his own successful boutique supply chain consultancy delivering training, strategic advice, and solutions across planning, sourcing, logistics, import/export, and regulatory requirements. Together the couple has lived and worked in the United States, Singapore and Australia raising their family for many years, whilst travelling and experiencing as many cultures as possible. Captivated by the beauty and skilled artistry of the British, Dutch and Portuguese colonial antique furniture from India, they are determined to restore and continue sharing these jaw dropping beauties with the world. Having chosen Singapore to be home for an unforeseeable future, they are honored and excited to be at the helm of the Past Perfect Collection through its next phase of growth and development.

A STYLISH ANTIQUE STORE IN SINGAPORE

The first Past Perfect Collection antique store was located in the enclave of River Valley, it then moved to the leafy Bukit Timah neighbourhood followed by many years at the Tan Boon Liat Building. When the doors reopened in November 2025, Singapore’s most stylish antique store found its new home at 100 Pasir Panjang (100 PP) overlooking  views of the shipping port across the road. And yes, the ‘PP’ in the address did not go unnoticed as a moniker for Past Perfect!

Visit the airy showroom and be transported back in time. Think of romantic four poster beds, handsome rosewood cabinets, sturdy travelling chests with heavy brass locks, breezy caned chairs and relaxing daybeds and you will begin to understand what this unique antique store has to offer.

Just imagine the romance of colonial European style courting Indian craftsmanship! These pieces can add that special character to your home, silently speaking to you of a bygone era.

PROUD ASSOCIATE OF RAFFLES HOTEL

A career highlight for The Past Perfect Collection was to be involved in the refurbishment of the iconic Raffles Hotel, Singapore, in 2019. The epitome of colonial elegance, Raffles Hotel was unveiled in its new glory in August of that year.

Within Raffles Boutique you can find many pieces which have come from the Past Perfect Collection antique store including several marble top tables, a games table, a cylinder desk, nests of tables and a writing table.

The Tiffin Room restaurant features a myriad of brass tiffin boxes from The Past Perfect Collection as well as numerous interesting artifacts, which can be found in the prestigious Writers Bar. Read more about this project in Raffles Hotel here.
