Anglo-Indian Rosewood Cheval MirrorLate 19th century
A British colonial cheval mirror in rosewood. It is a full-length tilting mirror in a frame with a carved crest rail and flanked by upright supports with brass screws. On top two finials. The mirror is supported by a cross stretcher and rests on four cabriole legs with acanthus carving on the knees and ending in scrolls. The original back boards are still in place.
