An elegant British colonial teakwood display cabinet, distinguished by its architectural form, warm timber tones and finely carved decorative details. A broad moulded cornice crowns the cabinet, while two slender columns with Corinthian-style capitals flank the glazed doors, lending the piece a stately, well-balanced presence. The doors feature an attractive arrangement of wooden glazing bars, with intersecting curves across the upper sections providing a graceful contrast to the otherwise linear design. A carved foliate ornament enriches the central panel, adding depth and detail to the façade.

The twin glazed doors open to a fitted interior with three teakwood shelves, offering generous space for displaying porcelain, glassware, books or treasured objects. Beneath the enclosed display section, an open shelf provides an additional surface for presentation, while two shallow drawers with decorative metal handles offer discreet storage for smaller items.

The cabinet is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
