An elegant pair of British colonial barrister style bookcases in teakwood. It features three bookshelves with a bevelled glass doors to allow the spines of the books to be read. The books can be accessed by an “up and over” door mechanism with brass knobs. The bookcases stand on bracketed feet.
The bookcase is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
