A pair of tall British colonial “waterfall” open bookcases in teakwood with 5 graduated shelves. The shelves are supported and connected by elegant scrolled stretchers. The bookcase is further strengthened at the back with a large X-stretcher. The bookcase has a flat plinth base around, resting on bun feet.
The bookcases are in good condition and have been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The teakwood has a rich shade with a striking grain.
