British Colonial Teakwood Cheval MirrorLate 19th century
A British colonial cheval mirror in teakwood. It is a full-length tilting mirror in a frame flanked by upright, curved supports that rest on a base with four cabriole legs ending in scrolls. The original back board is still in place.
The mirror frame is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
