













British Colonial Teakwood Sideboard
Late 19th centuryAn antique teakwood sideboard from the British colonial era with details in rosewood. The overhanging top is made of one piece of beautifully figured rosewood. The front mounted with two hinged doors with panels featuring nicely contrasting rosewood lining. They are flanked by decorative rosewood pilasters. The piece stands on a solid base also decorated with rosewood lining and rests on two bun feet at the front and two diamond shaped at the rear.
The interior is fitted with two shelves.
This antique teakwood sideboard is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
