British Colonial Large Display Cabinet
Late 19th centuryA large British colonial teakwood display cabinet with a small gallery on top. It has one door with a beveled glass panel that opens to an interior with three glass shelves. The sides also have beveled glass panels. The cabinet rests on a plinth base and is raised on four short cabriole legs.
The cabinet is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. grain. The Burma teak wood that this piece has been made of has a warm color and an attractive, straight grain.
