Anglo-Indian Center Table with Marble Top

An elegant mahogany center table with a serpentine shaped marble top. The apron with beautiful pierced floral carving at center and finial on each corner. The top rests on a centre column splitting into four cabriole legs with carving on the knees ending in a scroll. The interior of the centre column boasts a tall, gracious finial.
The table is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The mahogany has a rich warm shade with a striking grain. The marble has been replaced.
