British Colonial Rosewood Stools
Mid 19th centuryA nice pair of antique rosewood stools with a newly upholstered seat. This seat rests on two beautiful supports that are decorated with floral carvings and end in scrolled legs.The supports are connected by a curved and carved stretcher. The seat height is 50 cm or 16”.
The stools are in good condition and have been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The Indian rosewood that this piece has been made of has a naturally occurring dark shade with a striking grain.
