A large British colonial pedestal desk in teakwood. It has a bow fronted overhanging top with a new inset black leather surface and three drawers, resting on two pedestals. Each pedestal has three graduated drawers, all drawers flush fitting with the original brass handles. All the sides of the pedestals with paneling. The desk stands on eight short legs on a ball and claw foot.

The desk is in excellent condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The leather on top has been replaced.
