British Colonial Rosewood Drop Front Bureau
Late 19th centuryA British colonial rosewood drop front bureau. This piece stands on classic short bracket feet and features two small drawers above two large ones. Each drawer fitted with recessed brass handles. When opened, lopers slide out to support the drop front and reveal the well fitted interior with eight drawers and five pigeon holes.
The desk is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
