













British Colonial Teakwood Writing Desk
Late 19th centuryA small British colonial pedestal desk in teakwood with an overhanging top panel. The dome shaped centre section is flanked by two pedestals. The pedestal on the right has three drawers with a brass knob and features a pull-out support. The pedestal on the left features a compartment with a panelled door with a shield carving below a drawer with a brass knob. The desk stands on eight small legs.
The desk is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
