A large British colonial chest of drawers made of solid teakwood planks with an overhanging top. It houses twelve shorts drawers. All of the drawers with dovetail joints are flush fitting with the original recessed brass handles. The piece stands on a base that rests on square feet.

The set of drawers is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
