

















Portuguese Colonial Teakwood Chest of drawers
Mid 19th centuryA Portuguese colonial chest of drawers made of teakwood. The top has a rosewood edge and sits above four rosewood cock-beaded drawers. Each drawer fitted with the original brass handles against a nice brass back plate. The brass escutcheons of each drawer in the same design as the handle’s backplate. The piece stands on a solid base and rests on four bracket feet.
The chest is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
