Teakwood Art Deco Armchairs

Early 20th century

Pair of Art Deco armchairs made of beautifully grained teakwood. The chairs feature open curved arms and are perfect for lounging with their comfortable newly caned seat and back. Art Deco was derived from the Exposition  Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, held in Paris in 1925, where the style was first exhibited. Art Deco design represented modernism turned into fashion. It combined modern styles with fine craftsmanship and rich materials.

The chairs are in good condition and have been lovingly restored and finished using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.

These Art Deco chairs have been sold. Please keep checking our website as we may add a similar chairs.
