This reveals generous, concealed storage while creating a striking architectural display when fully opened. Brass hinges and lock escutcheons add a subtle, polished contrast to the warm cedar, and the ebony-edged top and plinth base give the piece a tailored silhouette that sits comfortably in both classic and contemporary interiors.

This box is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The cedarwood has a straight subtle grain in a warm shade giving a nice contrast to the ebony trim.
