Pair of British Colonial Mahogany Side Tables
Mid 19th centuryA pair of British colonial square tilt top side tables made of mahogany. The top with gadrooning around the edge above a frieze carved with a floral design, rests on a bulbous reeded column. The quatro form base has carved hollowed sides with paw feet.
The tables are in good condition and have been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The mahogany has a rich warm shade with a striking grain.
