British Colonial Rosewood Square Tilt Top Side Table
Mid 19th centuryAn antique British colonial square tilt top side table made of rosewood. The top is hinged to the central pedestal in such a way that it can be turned from a horizontal to a vertical position and, thereby, when not in use, take up less space. It rests on a bulbous reeded column surrounded by four spindles that end in a scroll. The quadro form base has carved hollowed sides with paw feet.
