Art Deco Teakwood Writing Box
Early 20th centuryAn unusual Art Deco writing box in teakwood with rosewood details. The straight lined design, inlaid in rosewood, with the roundels at the side make this an interesting antique box. Most probably it was used as a writing box with the round containers and ‘rolling pin’ to hold paper without folding it. Lovely beaded details in rosewood on the top and the sides. The box rests on four rosewood beaded feet.
The box is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
