British Colonial Mahogany Coffee Table with Marble Top
Late 19th centuryA nice antique British colonial coffee table with marble top. The apron is serpentine shaped and on all four sides beautifully carved and pierced in a fine floral design. The piece stands on four small cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carving on the knees ending in scroll feet.
The table is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The marble top has been replaced.
