A British colonial planter’s chair made of solid teakwood with a newly caned seat and back. The folding and adjustable inclined back and seat are caned in separate sections. The front legs in a Queen Anne style design are higher than the rear legs so the seat inclines. The seat height is 80 cm or 31 ½”. (at the front)
The chair is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
