A British colonial half-moon mahogany console table with a new marble top. The apron is beautifully carved and pierced in a fine floral design. The top rests on four supports: the two carved and reeded in the front has a modified acanthus design, the hind ones are straight. The four supports connected through a solid serpentine shaped base. The piece rests on two carved bun feet in the front and two square ones at the back.
The table is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The mahogany has a rich warm shade with a striking grain
