A British colonial rosewood and white cedar rectangular box in the form of a book. The box opens to a fitted interior with three small central compartments with cedar wood trim and two cedarwood trimmed compartments on either sides. With original working lock.

The box is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
