British Colonial Rosewood Coffee Table
Mid 19th centuryA beautiful British colonial low table with a square mahogany top framed in rosewood with a gadrooned moulded edge. The apron is executed in rosewood and is relief carved with a foliate design on all four sides. The table is supported on four cabriole legs, with acanthus carving on the knees and that terminate in a scroll on a peg.
The table is in good condition and has been lovingly restored to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
