This colonial Rosewood writing desk from India features a raised arched edge surrounding the sides and back. Two discreet drawers offer practical storage, making it an ideal blend of heritage style and everyday function. The taper reeded and ringed legs end in peg foot. The rich rosewood has a lustrous finish which enhances the grain making it a striking example of 19th-century craftsmanship, blending elegance with functionality.
The table is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
