British Colonial Teakwood Fall Front Bureau
Mid 19th centuryA good sized British colonial teakwood fall front bureau. This piece stands on classic short cabriole legs and features two smaller drawers above two larger ones. Each drawer with the original brass swan neck handles. The lopers with brass pulls have to be pulled out manually to support the fall front. When open, the work surface height of the fall front is 78cm or 31” . Inside a well fitted interior with three drawers and six arched pigeon holes.

The bureau is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
