A unique Portuguese colonial revolving stool in rosewood. The seat is round and newly upholstered in black leather with nail head trim. The three cabriole legs with carving on the knee, end in stylized claw feet. The legs are connected with stretchers that meet at a center finial.

This stool is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing. The Indian rosewood that they have been made of has a naturally occurring dark shade with a striking grain.
