British Colonial Rosewood Round Dining Table
Early 19th centuryA large antique British colonial round dining table in rosewood. The spectacular circular top is beautifully figured with a gadrooned edge above a apron carved with a floral design. The top of the table is secured to the cylindrical turned pedestal on four splayed legs ending in brass lion head castors.
The table is of lovely large proportions and would easily seat eight. It is in good condition and has been lovingly restored to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
