British Colonial Rosewood Round Dining Table

A beautiful British colonial dining- or center table in rosewood. The large circular top with gadrooning on the edge above the carved apron. It is supported on a column that is surrounded by three curved and scrolled spindles resting on a flat tri-form base with hollowed side and claw feet. The column is composed of three carved sections, the lower section encircled by a wide band of leaves.
The top of the table is hinged to the central column in such a way that it can be tilted from a horizontal to a vertical position.
