British Colonial Teakwood Barrister Bookcase
Early 20th centuryAn elegant British colonial barrister style bookcase in teakwood. It features five bookshelves with a glazed door to allow the spines of the books to be read. The books can be accessed by an “up and over” door mechanism. The bookcase stands on four short cabriole legs.
The bookcase is in good condition and has been lovingly restored and finished to its former glory using a traditional form of French polishing and waxing.
